Our cosmetology program can be completed in about ten months of full time attendance. Approximately 340 hours of the course time is devoted to technical instruction, which consists of various learning activities in a classroom situation. The balance of the course time is devoted to practical operations, in which students develop and practice cosmetology skills under the supervision of licensed instructors in actual working conditions.
The Hair California Beauty Academy Barbering program prepares students for careers in the field of barbering. A combination of classroom instruction and laboratory opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes specialized training in safety, sanitation, hair treatments and manipulations, hair cutting techniques, shaving, skin care, reception, sales, and management.
The Hair California Beauty Academy 600 hour Skin Care Program blends training of the holistic approach to skin care with other valuable training in the areas of hair removal, make-up artistry, spa therapies, basic therapeutic massage techniques, aromatherapy and general business development. The Skin Care Program can be completed in approximately four months of fulltime attendance.
